Seeing as I love these kinds of posts, I thought I would actually write one myself, this is pretty much my every day look at the moment, bar switching up my base, and lip colour and/or product. It also doesn't include my Nars Illuminator sadly, as I am trying to save the last few milimetres until I purchase the full size.
I started by applying my Bourjois Paris Happy Light luminous serum primer. I find this instantly lights up my complexion, whilst ensuring my makeup lasts all day. I followed this with L'Oreal True Match founation. After this it's time for concealer. I tend to use a couple of these, different ones for paticular areas. I start with the Maybelline Eye Eraser to help cover my dark circles, and then draw a 'v' under my eyes with The Body Shop Lightening Touch to brighten the area up. Lastly I use the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer on any blemishes.
As to my eyes I always start with my eyebrows, using the Sleek Brow Stylist to define them, and ASDA clear mascara to set them. I have been using the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick in Bluffing across the lids. This is a light golden brown colour that instantly brightens up the eye area. I followed this with the A la Carte Divine Lash mascara to add a bit of clump-free length and volume to my lashes. Having actually managed to apply my mascara perfectly (for a change) I then went back to the under-eye concealer and set it with the Bourjois Java Rice Powder - the perfect light, non-caking powder.
Having completed my eyes I started on the rest of my face, starting with the Nars Laguna Bronzer to contour my cheeks of course. I chose The Body Shop All-in-one Blush in shade Macaroon, which adds a dash of orangey-coral colour to the middle of my cheeks. I then finished my cheeks off with the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter along the tops of my cheek bones, and across the middle of my nose.
Just two more steps and my look for today is complete. I used the L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in shade 101 Rose Melody, a gorgeous nude-pink colour. Finally I brushed a bit of The Body Shop All-in-one Face Base across my nose, chin and forehead.
I hope you enjoyed my first 'what's on my face', what have you been wearing on your face lately?
