Recent favourite/review no.1: Phil Smith Deep Barrel Waver

I've been meaning to write this post for a while now. You see I struggle with using the usual curling wands, I always have. I have been wanting to purchase the Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl since I first heard of the product for this reason but then spotted this bargain alternative, the Phil Smith Deep Barrel Waver, in Sainsburys of all places. It was on offer for half price so thought it couldn't hurt trying.

The product is the Phill Smith Deep Barrel Waver. It looks like a massive hair crimper, you know those ones we all had when we were about 7; but what it does is what makes me love the product so much!

On first I use I was instantly impressed. The results were not only immediate but extremely quickly created - and no my hair did not look like a childs, honest.

The result was light wavy curls that would have taken 10x longer had I attempted to use some curling tongs.

The product is described as being a "ceramic coated barrel for smoothness and shine" that creates "deep glamourous waves." Overall I honestly do believe this is the result the Paul Smith Deep Barrel Waver provides. It has definitely been a favourite of mine since purchasing and I am so glad I found it.

What do you use to curl your hair? Am I the only one who struggles with curling tongs? Let me know your thoughts below.

  1. Try a babyliss curling wand, on the hotest heat they take about 15 seconds and make beautful curls! You might find that easier to use :) Rebecca | www.rebeccamariee.blogspot.com xx
