Recently used up beauty bits April-July 2015.

As well as purchasing a fair few new beauty bits lately I have also used up quite a lot of products, more than I realised until I gathered all the items together for a photography session. Some products I have loved but there are a few I haven't gotten along with so well.

The first product I am going to talk about is one you have all heard me talk about countless times, the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC cream. It is a CC cream that aims to perfect your skin by using different colour pigments whilst providing a light coverage. I love the finish it provides and it works really well at covering any redness. I'm sure I will repurchase this product shortly but for now I haven't for the first time ever.

I have also used up the Maybelline Babyskin Instant Fatigue Blur Primer - a product I love the initial finish but that's unfortunately as far as my love goes for this product. It just doesn't do anything for the lasting time of my makeup, the whole point I bother with a primer? For this reason this is one I would not repurchase.

The Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation is another foundation from Bourjois which I love. I love how light this one feels on my skin. It has been a favourite since it first came out and definitely one I will repurchase at some point. It is a foundation you all need to try at least once.

Another product I am sure you are all bored of me talking about is the Soap & Glory Blur and Brighten Kick-ass concealer. A concealer so easy to apply and blend, but also has amazing lasting power. I love this one so much I have 3 of them currently in my makeup drawer.

A favourite of mine for over two years now is The Body Shop All-in-one Face Base. The product seems to last forever, and is one I always go back to. It is great at removing any excess shine, whilst also being perfect for retouching - definitely a product I will continually repurchase.

The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation seems to be every blogger's favourite and one that is well worth the hype. My favourite part of this foundation is how long-lasting it is; my face doesn't even become shiny after a 9/10 hour shift. This bottle was actually a bit darker than my skin tone, but one thing to note from this is how well it mixes with other foundations to lighten the shade. This is a product I will happily repurchase.

The final foundation I have used up recently is one I have fallen in love with; the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. I love how light this feels on my skin whilst still covering up the redness on my skin. I weirdly also love the smell of this foundation. As to repurchasing I actually repurchased the foundation pretty much immediately after running out.

I have also used up the Revlon Photoready Concealer, a concealer I brought on a whim ages ago. The formula is relatively creamy but can take a while to blend in. I don't find it lasts very well on my skin unfortunately so it is not a product I will be repurchasing.

The Mac Prep & Prime Skin Base Visage is the last base product I have recently used up. The primer is fairly thick and applies like a cream. It does help my base last longer but it isn't a product I can say I fell completely in love with. However I would quite like to purchase the full size version to try the product further.

Another product I have used up recently is the Collection Eyebrow Definer - a product I honestly think you should all go out and purchase right now. I love the fine tip and the twist-up design; two features perfect for the lazy girl. I love how easy it is to apply and how long-lasting the pencil is. I will definitely be repurchasing and already have a spare on the go.

A second brow product I have finished up is an old favourite of mine - the Sleek Brow Stylist. I prefer the shade of this one compared to the Collection one but I do love them both (the Collection one is also half the price). I love the fact that this one has a brow brush one side to put my hairs into place before using the other end to define them. It is again a product I would repurchase.

The Gosh Smokey Eye Liner is a product I haven't actually finished but I got so annoyed with the fact the pencil kept snapping off every time I sharpened it that I decided to just throw it away. The experience this product has given me has made me not want to repurchase it even though I normally love Gosh eye liners.

The Rimmel Felt Tip Liner is a product with a slanted edge perfect for adding that winged eye liner look. The only problem I had with the product was that it dried out extremely quickly meaning I am really not sure if I would repurchase the product.

Every time I write an empties post I seem to have used up and finished off way too many mascaras so rather than giving each one their own paragraph I am going to sum them all up in one paragraph.

The MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash is a mascara great for adding length but one with a very dry formula meaning this can actually be a difficult process. The Body Shop Super Volume mascara is an amazing product; great for adding length, volume and plenty of blackness. The Bourjois One Seconde Volume mascara is one that I'm sure a lot of you love but one that I could never get a long with from day one. I found the brush way too big for my eyes, and I just was unfortunately not impressed with the finished look. I have also used up the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, a mascara well known for being  a dupe for the new Benefit mascara. I want to say I loved the product but sadly it is again one that really didn't impress me with the overall finish. Lastly I recently used up the Tarte Amazonian Clay Gifted mascara - another one I found didn't really do much for my lashes although it's the perfect mascara to lightly colour your lashes for an every day look. The only one of these five I can see myself repurchasing is The Body Shop Super Volume mascara.

So 19 products later and that is all the beauty products I have used up lately - if you got to the end then you deserve a congratulations certificate!

In case you read my last post about my spending ban and being able to buy one product for every 10 I use up, this little selection doesn't count for that rule unfortunately for me, but here's to using up my next 10 products!

What products have you used up lately? Which ones have you loved and instantly repurchased?
