I love Christmas and have been enjoying reading people's answers to the questions, so I thought I would share with you my answers so you can have a nose too.
1) What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
The Holiday hands down! I could watch this film every day and not get bored of it. My second favourite would have to be Elf or Santa Claus the movie, both typical Christmas films that always bring out everyone's Christmas spirit.
2) Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Who opens their presents on Christmas Eve? Christmas morning every time, we all get up nice and early over-excited for Christmas and open all the presents, normally followed by some chocolate for breakfast of course.
3) Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Not one in particular, different parts of every Christmas are always memorable. If I had to pick one it would probably be my last Christmas with my dad before he died, all waking up and just spending time with the family having a laugh. We always used to go to my grandparents on Christmas day, then to our Uncles for boxing day.
A more recent one would be my first Christmas in our own flat with my boyfriend last year, and all the build up getting excited to put our tree up and decorate. I remember him surprising me at work with a Christmas tree in front of a customer and I just shrunk to the floor in excitement with the biggest grin ever haha.
4) Favourite festive food?
All the little bits of food, the party-size food. I love mini sausage rolls a bit too much, and it's nice having everything you could think of around. As much as roast dinner is nice, the typical turkey is not my favourite meat. Last year was amazing, as my mum cooked lamb just for me.
5) Favourite Christmas gift?
I couldn't really name one, I don't think I have ever not liked the Christmas presents I have been given. I love being able to spoil others at Christmas too.
6) Favourite Christmas scent?
This one's a hard one to nail down but if we're going with what scents I like to burn at Christmas, it would have to be Yankee Candle's Christmas Eve I think.
7) Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Not really, I will have to start a tradition this year. The only thing I can really think of is watching Christmas movies and having a nice meal together.
8) What tops your tree?
It has always been a simple fancy star for some reason, but this year we seem to have lost the star, brought some new decorations and not a new topper. I think I'll have to buy one when I next go to the shops.
9) As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I honestly don't think there is one, I will have to ask my mum. The only crazy toy I can remember asking for was the Amazing Amy doll when I was a child that used to speak to you and tell you what she needs. She needed feeding and everything too. I never got this from my parents but my Grandparents went out and brought me and my sister one to surprise us, so I'm not sure it counts as we did receive it.
10) What's the best part about Christmas for you?
Everything from the build up to Christmas, the Christmas markets and all the decorations around the house. I love the Christmas music too, but the best best part is definitely spending time with those closest to me.
