A mascara costing £2.80? I'm sure you are all thinking this mascara wowing me can't be true but the Essence Maximum Definition has done just that.
The Essence Maximum Definition mascara is designed to 'lengthen your lashes from the root to the tip' whilst the brush is said to 'reach even the tiniest lashes in the corner of your eye.'
It really does exactly what it says, it adds length to my lashes with ease but I also find it adds some volume too. It does all this without clumping my lashes in the slightest, a definite must from a mascara for me.
As to the brush, the brush is very slim (slimmer than it looks in the picture) and coats my lashes with ease. The small size does allow me to reach the tiniest of lashes; I can apply it onto my bottom lashes without a fear of it getting everywhere.
The look it creates lasts all day too. The only negative thing I can possibly say about the Essence Maximum Definition mascara is that I found it to dry out quicker than my usual mascaras, but at £2.80 I don't think I can really moan about that.
All in all, I brought the mascara originally because of the price not expecting much but I am so glad I picked it up. It is a mascara I would definitely repurchase, it even reminds me of the L'Oreal Telescopic Lash Mascara because of the brush and overall result on the lashes.
Have you tried this mascara from Essence? What's your favourite mascara?
