My top 3 favourite foundations.

Finding the right foundation for you is one of the hardest tasks as we all want different things from our bases, and the bases themselves all provide different things, but I have finally found three foundations that I can't stop using. Today I thought I would share these with you.

For your reference I like my bases to be relatively light so I can barely feel them, to provide light to medium coverage depending, and to cover up any redness.

The first base I have to mention has to be the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue, a light tinted gel I have loved since the second I tried it. It is essentially a tinted gel that is extremely moisturising, un-noticeable on the skin and still somehow provides coverage. The Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is also the base that saved me and my skin when my skin got really dry when the weather suddenly went freezing. The glowy finish is also gorgeous. It is my everyday base the majority of the time, and one I really recommend you try if you haven't tried it already.

The NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation is a much more recent discovery but one I couldn't live without now. The NARS foundation provides more coverage than the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue but still feels nearly completely weightless. I love the luminous matte finish which still provides the glow I love in more of a matte way if that makes any sense. It is my go to evening foundation, or the one I go to when I want a little more coverage. See my full review here.

The last foundation I couldn't do this post without is the Rimmel Nude Lasting Finish, a medium coverage foundation that provides a similar finish to the NARS foundation featured above. It lasts really well, and covers up any redness with ease. I can feel this foundation very slightly but thanks to the serum within it is still relatively light. It is the foundation I was using constantly when I went for a month without the Complexion Rescue - it is definitely a foundation well worth trying.

Have you tried any of these foundations? What is your favourite foundation?
