Is the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Pillow Talk Lipstick worth the hype?
Sunday, 19 March 2017
The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in the limited edition shade Pillow Talk has been talked about so much in the blogger world since its release, but is it really worth the hype?
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks are described as a 'luminous modern-matte lipstick' with a 'revolutionary, square, angled tip' designed to 'mimic the shape of a lip brush for precision application.'
I would completely agree with this, the finish of the lipsticks are matte but something a bit different to your usual matte lipstick. I love the shape of the tip as it is a little bit sharper, and I believe it resembles similarly to the shape lipsticks often turn to after a few uses.
The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick applies with ease, and doesn't feel drying at all on the lips. It has a very comfortable finish, something I don't always find with matte lipsticks.
As to lasting time, I find the lipstick to last very well, but towards the end of wear time it does start to become more wrinkly if that makes any sense. This happens after about 4 to 6 hours wear, so I don't find it too much of an issue, I simply re-apply.
This was my second purchase from Charlotte Tilbury, and another purchase I am so glad I made. I definitely believe the Pillow Talk shade is worth the hype, and I already have my eyes on the shade Very Victoria in the same formula.
