The L'Oreal Infallible Lip Paint Lacquer is one of the most random purchases I have made recently. I needed a new mascara, and there was a 3 for 2 offer on, so I picked this product up in the shade 102 Darling Pink and it has seriously wowed me.
The L'Oreal Infallible Lip Paints are liquid lipsticks, but instead of your usual matte, they have a high shine finish. This is what got my attention initially, the idea of a non-matte liquid lipstick with lasting power really appealed to me, but it was something I didn't think would work.
The Lip Paints are described as having a 'bold high shine lip colour with super concentrated pigments for glossy paint like finish which lasts for 8 hours.'
The liquid lipstick has a doefoot applicator which allows you to apply the product with ease, easily moving it around your lip shape. The formula is of a thick consistency but effortless to work with.
Once applied it does indeed create a high shine finish, which is incredibly pigmented. The shade 102 Darling Pink is a dark pink shade with hints of red within.
As to the lasting time, I don't know about 8 hours, but it does last incredibly well. I have found it to wear extremely well, pretty much looking the same as it did when applied, all the way up until the point I've started eating. This is usually after around 5 hours of wear.
As it is a glossy formula, it does tend to rub off quite a bit when eating, however it wears quite naturally leaving a stain behind. It can also rub off a little if you touch your lips, as the colour immediately appears on your fingers, but luckily without leaving a massive gap in your lips.
Overall, I am completely sold on this product and really wasn't expecting it. The lasting power is amazing, I love the finish and these Lip Lacquer's only cost £6.99. I definitely would like to pick up a few more shades from the collection.
