Garnier Oil-infused Micellar Water Vs. the original Garnier Micellar Water.

Garnier micellar water review

Over the last couple of years micellar water has become a massive thing within the beauty world, whether you're being lazy or using it as the first step in a beauty routine. Every brand seems to have their own one, but one brand I always go back to for their micellar water is Garnier.
About a year ago Garnier released a newer version, a slightly different formula, an oil-infused micellar water. You simply have to shake the bottle to mix together the water and the oil, allowing the liquid to essentially work like a magnet to draw the makeup off from your face. So today I thought I would share with you all a little comparison.

They are both designed to take your makeup off. The original formula does do just that, and until towards the end of last year I didn't think there would be a difference. This is when I made the random decision to purchase the newer, oil-infused formula, and was wow'ed.

Upon purchasing, I immediately noticed a difference the first time I used it. It similarly took my makeup off with ease, but it also left my face feeling much cleaner, and less dry than I was used to.

When using the original formula my skin is left much, much drier after use. The other thing I started to notice was how much easier the oil-infused formula took off my mascara. I find it removes my mascara pretty much with one wipe, whereas with the original formula I always have to go over my eyes a couple of times to get every last drop.

Of course, being a micellar water it doesn't neccessarily need to get rid of every last drop or yours or my makeup, but it is nice when it does - especially if your lazy like me, sometimes.

Since discovering the oil-infused formula I don't think I could go back to the original micellar water, there is just too much of a difference for me.

Have you tried these micellar water's from Garnier? What brand makes your favourite micellar water?
