Nars Sheer Glow foundation. This is a foundation I have been debating over purchasing forever, and when I spotted the shade I believed I was I had to purchase. I went for the shade Fiji, but did the thing you should never do and matched myself up online. Luckily my guess from swatches seems to be pretty suited to my skintone, but I’d always suggest getting a foundation match before purchasing. I’m sure you have all seen this foundation mentioned plenty of times, but it is a foundation said to give a “glowing, natural radiant finish.” I’ve only had it a day so far, but so far so good. The sheer in the titling is misleading; the foundation actually provides pretty good coverage creating a lovely, even, radiant finish. I also love how light-weight it feels on my skin. The product stayed put for the entire day with no touch-ups. I will be writing a full review after I have tried this product for a little longer.
Nars foundation pump. I actually ordered this off of eBay purely because the only place I seemed to be able to track it down was on the Nars website itself, and I ordered the other products elsewhere so didn’t really want to pay postage. I don’t quite understand why Nars don’t include an option with this already included, a pump is a neccessity in my eyes. Either way, I am so glad I purchased this. There’s not much to say other than it does it’s job successfully. It also has a stopper if you twist the pump one way to stop the product spilling everywhere. This is perfect if you need to transport the foundation anywhere.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Another Nars product which is much raved about in the blogosphere, and I have wanted for a long time. I swatched in-store a while back, and happened to be the shade you can never get ahold of, vanilla. That aside, this shade is in stock currently. Nars say the product has a “luxurious and luminous finish” and “evens skin with lightweight to high buildable coverage.” Again I have only had this product a day, but I was impressed with both the lasting power, and coverage. It instantly covered up my dark circles, and brightened the eye area. The concealer lasted all day. The only thing I did notice is that the concealer feels slightly thicker than I expect when applying, but you can’t notice this once it is all set. So far I can see why this is raved about so much, and think I could be on to a winner. I will let you know shortly.
Have you used any Nars products? What did you think, and is there anything else by Nars you think I should try?
