YouBeauty Discovery Box June 2014.

First of all sorry for the delay in a post, my laptop keyboard kind of died and my iPad mini refused to import any photos, sad times. #blogger problems.

Anyway, for those of you who don’t know Youbeauty Discovery is a beauty box subscription you receive on a monthly basis at a mere cost of just £6.95 including postage. Each month, you get to choose two products from a specific theme. Alongside this you also receive two additional items; one normally a food/drink item, and the other being some form of a beauty product.

This month the theme was Beauty Heroes. I chose the L’oreal Infallible lip colour in shade Timeless Rose, and the other L’Oreal infallible lip colour on offer, Flawless Fuschia. Additionally, I received the Montagne Jeunesse dead sea mud spa mask and an expandable face cloth.

My favourite items were definitely the L’Oreal Infallible lip colours, but I was definitely apprehensive about the 24 hour wear time they claim. However, boy have I been surprised. You apply the colour, first of all, followed by the balm. This ensures an unsticky end result that looks really smooth on the lips, and they really do last the full length of time. I managed to have a shower, complete a whole day, eat, drink and even sleep and the colour was still clearly visible on my lip. This is something I’ve never experienced before, I definitely have my eye on a few of the other colours in the collection. Each lip colour is worth £9.99, so one of them alone more than covers the value of the beauty box.

As I mentioned above I also received a Montagne Jeunesse dead sea mud spa mask. I haven’t actually used this mask yet, but can’t wait to try it. It isn’t your typical apply the mask all over your face yourself, the mask is actually pre-made and a mud infused fabric pre-shaped. I’m yet to try a face mask of this design so I am so glad I received this. Montagne Jeunesse claims the mask will “breathe life back into the skin with intensely invigorating & revitalising Dead Sea Minerals.” The mask contains both seaweed and kelp, which has been harvested naturally from the source.

Last up is the expandable mask. Ah, I haven’t used one of these in years, and love the little addition. I haven’t expanded it yet as I’m saving it for my holiday in a couple of weeks, so, unfortunately, can’t comment on what the flannel is like just yet.

I have absolutely loved this beauty box, it is one of the best I’ve received yet. If you’re looking for a beauty box, and some great choices each month, I definitely suggest you check out YouBeauty Discovery, especially for the price.

What do you think of the products I received? Do you subscribe to any beauty boxes?
