Face masks are something I love to use in addition to my skincare routine. I try to use one or two a week, and I love the results they provide. I love using different masks for different reasons, so today I thought I would share with you my 3 favourite face masks.
First up is the The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping mask. This is a mask designed to plump up your skin, add moisture and visibly smooth resulting in a youthful dewy experience. It is a semi-clear orange-y colour with bits of rose petals within. I tend to apply this and leave it on for longer than suggested, for about half an hour. After this time I do find it seems to plump up my skin leaving it looking and feeling fresher. As my skin is on the drier side of combination I really find this mask helps with adding some extra moisture to my skin, I actually love using it after the next mask I am going to talk about.
The L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox mask is probably my favourite out of the three and a mask I absolutely adore. This mask is designed to detox and clarify, which I find it really does. This is a charcoal mask that works over the course of 10 to 15 minutes. As it sets you will notice bumps appear where there are any blackheads. This is gross, but oddly satisfying as you can physically see the mask working. Once removed I always find my face looks squeaky clean and fresh. I do find it can dry out my skin a little bit, which is why I love using The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping mask after.
The last mask I had to mention is quite a new one to my collection, the Glamglow Gravity Mud Firming Treatment mask*. This is a mask designed to leave your skin feeling firmer and more lifted. I am in my 20’s so this isn’t something I find I need yet but I still really do notice a difference. When my skin is tired and dull this a great mask to really perk it up. I notice it lifts towards my eye area and leaves my skin generally looking plumper. It is also a peel off mask and dries a super cool silver colour, which makes it even cooler as far as I’m concerned. I love how easy peel off masks are.
What are your favourite masks? Have you tried the masks I have mentioned?
