Pamper routine.

pamper routine

I don’t know about you but I love a bit of pampering. Once a week I try to make time to just completely relax and pamper myself, so today I thought I would share with you all my pamper routine.

I typically like to start by running myself a boiling hot bath and using either a bath bomb or a bubble bar. My favourites are always from Lush, I adore the strong scent they give off and genuinely enjoy the pretty colours they create.

Whilst my bath is running I will often switch on some music, light a candle, and sometimes even have a glass of wine, before getting in and simply lying there for several minutes.

When I do decide to start moving I like to make the most of a long bath and will start by using a scrub on my body, my favourite at the moment being the Soap & Glory The Scrub of Your Life. I always find Soap & Glory’s scrubs amazing, and this one is no different. It exfoliates my skin whilst also being moisturising.

I will then go on to wash myself using a shower gel or cream. I tend to switch between gels and creams, but I am really enjoying using shower creams at the moment as they are incredibly moisturising and inject my skin with a tonne of added moisture. My favourite shower creams lately are the Palmolive Gourmet Body Butter Shower Creams.

When I finally get out of the bath I like to add even more moisturise to my body. My skin is quite dry since coming back Thailand so I have been reaching for The Body Shop Passionfruit Body Butter, for it’s incredibly thick texture. It takes a while to sink in but it is amazing. I also like to use the Soap & Glory’s Heel Genius to give my feet some extra love and moisture.

Once I’m all moisturised it’s time for the face masks. I like to multi-mask to treat different concerns, so will often go in with the L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox mask first, to completely clear out my skin and leave it squeaky skin. As I find this quite a drying mask I will then reach for a more moisturising option, The Body Shop British Rose Fresh plumping mask is one of my favourites. Lastly, as I have terrible black circles, I love to use an eye mask. I tend to switch between brands but the Sephora Pomegranate Eye mask has to be my favourite; the only problem is that this is a little tricky for me to get hold of easily.

Following this I will complete my skincare routine, before doing the final step of my pamper routine – pamper my nails. I love having painted nails (even if I’m terrible at doing this regularly) so I like to try and paint them when I get time. I do need to get more colours but I really enjoy using the Sensationail Gel Nails as these not only look incredibly shiny, but they also last really really well, so I don’t really need to worry about chipping nails throughout the week.

And that’s the end of my pamper routine, how do you like to pamper yourself? Do you take the time to pamper yourself?
