September beauty favourites

It’s the end of the month and officially Autumn, which means it’s monthly favourites time again. I’ve been using a lot of the same products throughout September that I’ve mentioned in my last couple of monthly favourites, so there are only a few products this month.

Essie As If & Primark false nail

The first favourite has to be Primark false nails. I tried a pair of false nails from Primark last Christmas and really didn’t find they lasted that long, but after reading a tip to apply the glue to both the nails and your fingernails I have been beyond impressed. I wore a beautiful rose gold patterned pair a couple of weeks ago and they literally lasted a full week without any issues. I did manage to snap one of the ends of the nails off but this was my fault; I decided to put my full weight onto one nail (don’t ask) so it is unsurprising it broke! I can’t wait to try the pairs featured above and pick up a few more pairs as we draw closer to Christmas.

The Essie Nail Polish in the shade As If is another nail product that I couldn’t not mention this month. After seeing a few people tweet about the new Autumn shades I had to pick up the shade As If using my Boots points. It is a beautiful bluey-grey shade, but I really didn’t expect it to last 6 days completely chip-free! I also only needed to apply one coat of polish before it was completely opaque too, this is definitely a love of mine this month.

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin hand cream & The Body Shop All Bright day cream

The Boots Botanics All Bright Hydrating Day cream* is another product that I have been loving. I usually stick to using The Body Shop Vitamin E face creams exclusively but after receiving this I have been very impressed. I love the fact that this cream really hydrates my skin but also leaves a lovely glow. It sinks in quickly and is just as hydrating as The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture cream. It is definitely one to try!

Lastly is a number from The Body Shop themselves and is their Vanilla Pumpkin Hand Cream. I’m not sure how to describe the scent but it is warm and Autumnal, and I love it. It sinks in easily leaving my hands moisturised, and it doesn’t feel greasy at all. It’s a love product.

What have been your monthly favourites this month? Have you tried any of the products I’ve mentioned?
