An eyeshadow palette which I have been meaning to write a blog post about for the longest time is the Urban Decay Electric palette. It is a super bright palette full of amazing shades and one that I have been playing around with since May, so today I thought I would share with you a review.
This is actually an eyeshadow palette which I have wanted for the longest time but struggled to justify the cost as it definitely isn’t an everyday palette. When my other half kindly picked this up in May for me it was on an offer which meant it only cost around £20, so nearly half price! It usually costs £38.
The Urban Decay Electric palette contains 10 pressed pigment shades with a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. They are all incredibly pigmented shades and are mostly smooth to the touch, something I have come to expect from Urban Decay eyeshadows.
Starting with the top row and from left to right above, the first shade Revolt is a silver shimmer shade, followed by Gonzo – a bright teal-toned blue with hints of glitter, Slowburn – a bright orange-toned red with hints of glitter, Savage – a matte bright pink, and Fringe – an almost foil teal blue shade.
Now onto the second row, and the last 6 shades in the swatch photo above, the seventh shade is Chaos – a matte bright dark blue, if that makes any sense, Jilted – a matte violet shade, Urban – a matte dark purple shade, Freak – an almost foil bright green shade, and Thrash – a bright greeny-yellow shade with hints of glitter.
Overall, I am so impressed with this eyeshadow palette and I am so glad to finally have it in my collection. The shades are not only pigmented, but they are also super long lasting. I can create looks I never thought possible, and even created a rainbow eye look for pride. If you want to take a look you can find it over on my Instagram.
