I know I say this all the time but how an earth is it the end of October? October has been a relatively quiet month for me, especially with me still being ill for the first half of the month, but I am finally better and as you are reading this I am actually in Iceland(!!!). But, anyway it’s time for October beauty favourites.
First up is the LA Girl Pro BB cream, a product that I have spoken about a few times so I won’t say too much but it really is an amazing product worth more attention than it is given. I love the formula, despite being a BB Cream it provides some coverage. It feels incredibly light and is moisturising on the skin too.
The Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Lyin’ King is a liquid lipstick that I have been absolutely loving since picking up last month. It is a gorgeous deep raspberry shade, a shade perfect for Autumn. It’s incredibly comfortable and I love that it is more pink-toned as a lot of darker lipsticks I find are on the red or nude spectrum. It is a shade I can definitely see being a favourite throughout Autumn.
The other liquid lipstick I have been finding myself reaching for lately is The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid in the shade Tahiti. The texture is a mousse, so a little odd, and different to any other liquid lipsticks I’ve used so I found it quite strange to use at first, but I adore the colour. It is a brighter raspberry pink kind of shade that brightens up any makeup look. I find it goes with so many makeup looks and wears evenly as it starts to fade too.
Next up is another one from Colourpop and is another newer one to my collection. It is the Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in the shade Nillionaire, and it is honestly one of the most beautiful eyeshadows I have ever come across. I would describe it as a bronzey-black shade with gold flecks of glitter throughout, the perfect shade for an evening out or if you just fancy dressing up. I love it so much, and out of all the products in this months’ favourites, this is definitely my number one favourite!
The Essence Satin Touch Blush in the shade 20 Satin Love is another product that I have been loving. It is the perfect neutral blusher shade that just adds that something to your cheeks, alongside a glow. I can’t get over the fact that this product only costs £1, and I definitely, need to take a look at more of their products.
The final favourite would have to be the Hourglass Surreal Light Ambient Lighting Edit. I know these limited edition palettes are always extortionate but I absolutely adore this one, so if you are thinking of getting this years’ one I don’t think you will regret it. I love all of the shades, other than the highlighter as this is a little dark for my skin tone, but the stand-out shade this last month has to be the bronzer. I love using this shade as a bronzer, and on my eyelids alone to add a little colour, that looks like you’ve done more than you actually have.
What have you been loving this month? Have you tried any of the products I’ve mentioned?
