A February to-do list

February To-Do

Can you believe it’s February tomorrow? Everyone’s been commenting on how January has been the longest month ever, which in some ways it has, but in some ways it feels like it has gone super quick for me. I for one can’t believe that it will be February tomorrow. That being said, today I thought I would share with you my February to-do list, a few things I want to get done this February.

DO SOMETHING FITNESS-WISE

Fitness is something that I definitely go through stages with. Last year, I was doing Boogie Bounce, but they’ve stopped doing that locally to me recently, and I just haven’t swapped it for anything, and I cancelled my gym membership last year too. I really want to start doing something again, whether it’s rejoining a gym or starting a new class. I used to do a pole dancing class, which is excellent for improving your strength and toning, so I’m considering doing that again as I loved it, I’ve just got to decide if I can justify the price.

BOOK A HOTEL/AIR B’N’B FOR MY BIRTHDAY IN MARCH

Last year we went away to Prague for my birthday, but as we’re saving money this year and being cheaper holiday-wise a trip abroad for my birthday won’t be something we’ll be doing. However, we’ve decided we will still go away for a couple of nights in the UK, but we need to book it. I think we have decided on Oxford, so if you have any recommendations on things we have to do please let me know.

EMAIL BRANDS

This is something I always mean to do but I definitely don’t do enough. Emailing brands could lead to opportunities and helps build relationships whilst making them aware of my blog. I hear so many people do this on a regular basis, and I want February to be the month that I start doing this on a much more regular basis. Yes, I might not get a response, but if I don’t try, then I’ll never know.

MAKE MORE TIME TO READ

I’m the worst person with this, I read a tonne on holidays but I never make the time in my everyday life. It is something I’ve started doing a lot more, but this is still once every few days. It’s a great way to self-care, so I think it’s something I definitely need to start doing more.

USE A FACE MASK AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK

I kind of already do this with the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight mask, but I mean the masks that you actually have to remove from your skin. 2017 was the year I finally got into skincare, and a proper skincare routine, and face masks are an amazing addition to this. Throughout January, I’ve been so busy work-wise that I just haven’t made the time, a terrible excuse I know, but February is the time to fix this.
