So after a weekend of actual Spring-like weather, I feel like I can actually talk about Spring being here, so today’s post is all about the 3 Spring makeup products you need. When it gets a little warmer (I emphasise the world little), I tend to start going a bit lighter with my makeup products and/or reaching for more peachy pink makeup products. I feel like they really brighten my makeup and essentially add a bit of Spring to my face, if that makes sense.
L’OREAL INFALLIBLE LONGWEAR SHAPING STICK BLUSH IN SEXY FLUSH
I mentioned the L’Oreal Infallible Longwear Shaping Foundation Stick in my March favourites post, but I have also picked up one of their highlighters and their blusher in Sexy Flush, the one I think you need this Spring. Like the foundation sticks the blush stick is super easy to apply and you can blend it out in seconds. Sexy Flush is a gorgeous pale blush pink shade that adds the perfect touch of colour to your cheeks, and it can easily be built up. It’s the kind of blusher that has a glow to it and instantly brightens up your face. The other shade looks more neutral but is definitely one I’d love to pick up at some point too.
IT COSMETICS OMBRE RADIANCE BLUSH IN JE NE SAIS QUOI*
I was recently lucky enough to receive the It Cosmetics Ombre Radiance Blush* in Je Ne Sais Quoi, and even though this is another blusher I couldn’t not mention it. This time the blusher is a powder formula, so it provides you with options, and is a blusher that I have completely fallen in love with. It is designed to be a brightening blusher and it really does brighten up your complexion. The pigment is incredible so if you’re pale like me you barely need to touch your brush in the product to add a gorgeous flush of colour to your skin. I tend to use a bit too much and swirl my brush in all three colours, before tapping off the excess product and applying it to my face. This creates a gorgeous warm rosy-pink colour, perfect for Spring.
COLOURPOP ULTRA SATIN LIP IN NOVEMBER
I think you already know about my Colourpop obsession by now but the one product from Colourpop you need for Spring is their Ultra Satin Lip in November. November is such a gorgeous warm peachy pink shade that kind of looks slightly like a peach coral on the lips. It’s a shade I can’t stop reaching for since purchasing, and one, that like the other two products I mentioned, just brightens up your makeup look. And, it’s in my favourite liquid lipstick formula ever, what’s not to love? P.s. it does look a little darker in the swatch below.
What would be your 3 Spring makeup product picks? Have you tried the products I’ve mentioned?
