It’s been a little while since I’ve shared a makeup look on my blog, with the last look being my birthday makeup look back in March(!), so, I thought I would finally share another one today. I’ve been very lazy with my makeup lately, especially everyday, so I thought I would share the everyday makeup look I can’t seem to stop applying.
To start creating this look, following moisturising, I pop two pea size squeezes of the Klairs Illuminating Blemish Cream SPF 40* onto my face after warming the mixture up between my fingers. I then blend this in using my fingers as a super quick base in the mornings, those mornings I really don’t want to move for work! This leaves a subtle tint on my skin that doesn’t really provide coverage, but it does add some warmth to my skin, lightly illuminate and even it out.
Following this, I like to add a bit of coverage using the Nars Soft Matte Concealer under my eyes, around my nose, on my chin and sometimes a little on my cheeks using a concealer brush. To blend it in I use my trusty Eco Tools Complexion Sponge. This easily adds some coverage where I need it but it still feels super light on the skin, perfect for an everyday makeup base.
To finish off my complexion I use a large fluffy brush in the Surreal Light Finishing powder in my Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette to add a natural glow to my skin. Since taking these photos I’ve actually completely finished this powder so if you have any cheaper dupes please let me know in the comments.
I also use the Surreal Glow blusher from this palette in my everyday makeup look, but as eyeshadow. I use a fluffy eye brush and adore the contoured look this shade seems to provide on my eyes, as if I’ve made a lot more effort.
Next up it’s time to address my eyebrows using an angled brush and my favourite Benefit Brow Zings to add some definition and shape to my brows.
To finish off my eyes I have been applying a couple of coats of the Clinique High Impact mascara, a mascara which adds definition and depth, but in a more subtle manner.
And finally, to complete my everyday makeup look, I like to add a lipstick but this does vary depending on what I’m feeling. If I’m looking for a warm peachy pink shade I reach for the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in November, if I’m looking for a bolder shade I reach for a gorgeous mauvey pink shade – the Colourpop Lux Lipstick in Still Crazy, and if I’m looking for a more natural nude pink lip it has to be the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk.
And here’s the final everyday makeup look, the makeup look I have consistently been applying for the last few months. Have you used any of the products I’ve used to make this makeup look? Is this a makeup look you would re-create?
