Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation review.
You may have seen me mention the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation in my recent favourites post here, but as I have been enjoying the foundation so much I couldn’t not write a full review on it and share my thoughts.
The Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation is said to mattify and refine pores with blurring micro-powders for poreless looking skin, leaving a natural, seamless finish.
I tend to apply the foundation with a damp Real Techniques Miracle Diamond Sponge which works incredibly well. It applies with ease, spreading across the skin well.
Once applied I immediately notice that my pores are less noticeable, something that I have been noticing are more visible lately. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation definitely seems to refine and hide them.
The foundation leaves a really nice, nearly flawless finish, hiding everything I need it too whilst still looking natural. I don’t find the finish to be completely matte. It is more of a demi-matte natural looking, seamless finish.
It feels super light on the skin, and sets well without rubbing off when touched. As to longevity, I find the Maybelline foundation to last the duration of my working day without needing topping up. At the end of the day this is when it can start to break up around my nose and chin, but nothing a bit of powder couldn’t resolve.
Overall, I do think the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation lives up to its claims. It wasn’t a foundation I was expecting to full in love with, but I definitely am. It is the first drugstore foundation in a while which I have completely and utterly loved, and it is definitely one I think you should try if you haven’t already, especially for the bargain price of £6.99.
What’s your favourite drugstore foundation? Have you tried this one by Maybelline?
