If you follow me on Instagram then you may or may not know that I picked up a few more bits from Colourpop back in September, so today I thought I would share with you my forth Colourpop haul. Yes, I have a problem, but if you love Colourpop as much as me or you just want to see what else I have from them, then you can see my previous hauls here, here and here.
This time I actually only spent about $40 before customs but still picked up an incredible amount of products as I picked everything up during their birthday sale, and even got some anniversary freebies!
The first things I had to pick up were a couple of Colourpop’s Super Shock Shadow value sets. Just to be annoying I have no idea what the sets were called as I stupidly threw the packaging away after taking photos (bad blogger, I know) and they’ve now sold out. However, you can still get the majority of the shades I picked up separately, so don’t worry. The shades I got from right to left on the swatch photo above are:
As usual I am so impressed with the formula, every single shade is super smooth and pigmented, and lasts very well on the eye lids. My favourites have to be La La, Nillionaire and White Rabbit.
- Mittens – a warm-toned brown, with tiny silver flecks
- La La – an absolutely gorgeous soft copper shade
- Cricket – an icy purple shade, with silver flecks
- So Quiche – a soft olive shade with a slight purple twist and glitter flecks
- Truth – a satin light beige shade
- Nillionaire – the shade I’ve talked about a million times already, a bronze-y black shade with gold glitter throughout
- Static – a satin deep burgandy shade
- 8 Track – a pearlized khaki shade with gold flecks
- Donna – a satin teal blue shade
- White Rabbit – a metallic orange-toned copper shade
I also picked up a few more lip products, including one of their old lip trios which included a Lippie Pencil in the shade Bumble, the matching Ultra Matte Lipstick and the Matte X Lippie Stix in the shade Goal Digger. All three products work amazingly well together and are on the warm rose spectrum, I’m so, so glad I picked this little set up.
The Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Lyin’ King was another lip product I picked up and probably my favourite product out of everything. It is such a gorgeous deep raspberry shade in my favourite formula from Colourpop. It applies with ease, lasts well, and works really well with my pale complexion. It is one that I can see being a favourite of mine for a long time.
Next, I picked up my second Ultra Glossy Lip in the shade Wishes as I couldn’t resist the metallic iridescent look of the product. It is a lovely cool fuchsia shade with a pearl finish. It’s definitely pigmented for a lipgloss and so different to anything else I own, it really brightens up any makeup look but it isn’t one you can just throw on as it doesn’t actually go with any makeup look.
Additionally I picked up the Colourpop No Filter Concealer, a product I was super excited about. I had heard such mixed things so I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect and whilst I don’t hate it, it definitely isn’t a holy grail concealer for me, unfortunately. It has good coverage and does really lift my dark circles but it doesn’t last all day and I wouldn’t say it is a life-changing product that you have to try.
Lastly, when I was making this order Colourpop were celebrating their third birthday, which meant that you could pick free products from a special limited edition anniversary collection depending on how much you spent. I was lucky enough to receive three products, the Super Shock Cheek in the shade High Five – a light pink-toned highlighter, the Super Shock Shadow in the shade Party of Five – a rosy pink ultra glitter eyeshadow, and the Ultra Matte Lip in the shade Take Five – a dark dusky mauve pink shade. I absolutely love all of these, especially the Super Shock Shadow, and think the different packaging is gorgeous. Unfortunately, these aren’t available anymore, but I couldn’t not include them (sorry).
Have you picked up anything from Colourpop recently? Is there anything I have picked up that you would like to try?
