If you’ve been reading and following my blog over the past year then you probably know that I have a slight obsession with Colourpop. The quality for the price is outstanding and is what gets me, along with the new launches constantly going on trying to tempt me. With that being said today’s post is all about 5 products I think you need to try from Colourpop.
The Super Shock Shadows
Colourpop’s Super Shock Shadows are probably their most famous product due to the unique texture and are also the product that made me really want to try Colourpop in the first place. It’s a kind of spongy texture that is both soft and creamy, unlike anything I had ever tried before. I love the formula and always struggle to get over how pigmented and long-lasting the Super Shock Shadows are. They really are a product you just need to try, with the shades above, Nillionaire and Crenshaw being my absolute favourites, a bronzey-black shade with gold glitter, and a warm matte brown shade.
The Yes, Please! eyeshadow palette
The Colourpop Yes, Please! eyeshadow palette is actually a newer one to my collection and contains 12 eyeshadows in the pressed powder formula, and once again they are an incredible formula. I absolutely love how easy to work with these eyeshadows are. They blend like a dream, and are even better than some of the eyeshadows in the high-end eyeshadow palettes I own. They are incredibly long-lasting and pigmented too, oh and how unique are the shades?
Another newer one to my collection is the Colourpop No Filter Concealer, a product I was so excited about when I first heard that Colourpop were releasing a base product. I actually can’t make my mind up about this one but the doe foot applicator is so amazing that I had to include this product, and is a reason alone for you to try this product. I don’t know how much you can tell from the photo but it is a super flexible doe foot that just bends around your face if that makes any sense. This product is actually pretty much empty so I’m switching between this and another one and I’m struggling with the other applicator, which says something. As to the product itself, it is a medium to full coverage concealer, but it can break up around my nose if I don’t use a primer.
The Colourpop lip products
Colourpop lip products are something I always talk about, but they are entirely worth being spoken about so much, especially the Satin Lip formula. I love how comfortable they are, without being too drying in any way, shape or form. They last incredibly well and are just something you totally need to try. Pictured above are the shades Lyin’ King and Alyssa, a deep raspberry shade and a dusty nude rose shade.
The other lip product I think you need to try is the Colourpop Lippie Stix in the Matte X formula. I only have one but I find myself reaching for it constantly as again the formula is so comfortable, and for a non-liquid lipstick, it is super long-lasting. It can even last through eating with only minimal disruption around the middle of your lips. I have the shade Cami, a cool-toned mauve nude shade, but definitely, need to pick up more.
Have you tried Colourpop before or any of the products I’ve mentioned?
