Top single eyeshadows, that you need to try

Top single eyeshadows

Eyeshadow palettes are something I mention quite regularly on my blog, but other than the Colourpop single shadows I rarely mention my favourite single eyeshadows. However, there are a few staples in my collection, so today’s post is all about my top single eyeshadows, the ones you need to try.

NYX PRISMATIC SHADOW IN FIREBALL

The Prismatic eyeshadows from NYX are something I picked up last Summer, a time when I was wanting every single NYX product. I love that there is a great range of shades, all of that I’ve swatched which are incredibly pigmented. I have two shades and Fireball is definitely my favourite, it’s a gorgeous rusty red-y orange shade. It really is an incredible product that I adore and definitely recommend trying. It lasts well on the eyelids too.

KIKO LONG-LASTING WATER EYESHADOW IN 218

Kiko is a brand I should really try more from, but a gem I have tried and loved is the Kiki Long-lasting Water eyeshadow in the shade 218. It’s a formula that reminds me of the NARS Dual Intensity eyeshadows as this Kiko one is designed to be used wet and dry too. 218 is a gorgeous orange-toned peach shade that’s perfect as we go into Spring. I love that it can be used wet or dry but do definitely prefer the intensity when it is wet as it really is that much more intense.

URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW IN SIN

If you’ve seen the photos of my original Urban Decay eyeshadow palette on my blog then you’re probably already aware of how much I love this shade, as I’ve completely used the entire pan up, something that never happens. The shade sin is such a gorgeous champagne shimmer that I used to often wear alone across the eyelids for a quick makeup look. I still do this but I love using it with a few other shades in an entire eye makeup look too as it really brightens the eyes.

STILA MAGNIFICENT METALS GLITTER & GLOW LIQUID EYESHADOW in BRONZED BELL

Another product you’ve probably seen plenty of times on my blog but the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid eyeshadow is a product I adore. It’s an incredibly pigmented bronze shade with flecks of silver and gold throughout. It’s just beautiful. It lasts incredibly well too and really is unlike any other product I own. I love the formula, and really need to pick up some other shades at some point.

COLOURPOP SUPER SHOCK SHADOW IN CRENSHAW

I think you may already have an idea how much I love the Colourpop Super Shock formula, for how long it lasts, the pigmentation and the unique formula. The shade Crenshaw is one of the few mattes I own and is one of my absolute favourites from my collection. It’s a gorgeous warm matte brown shade that looks lovely on its own if I’m being lazy or in the crease. It’s an everyday shade that I always find I reach for.

COLOURPOP SUPER SHOCK SHADOW IN MUSE

My second favourite Colourpop Super Shock Shadow would have to be the shade Muse. Muse is an ultra-metallic shade that again has incredible pigmentation. It’s a gorgeous dusty rose shade that works well with so many makeup looks.

COLOURPOP SUPER SHOCK SHADOW IN NILLIONAIRE

The final Colourpop Super Shock Shadow that I couldn’t do this post without mention is the shade Nillionaire. Nillionaire is an amazing ultra-glitter in a bronzey-black shade with gold glitter that makes the perfect eyeshadow for an evening out. Paired with Crenshaw in the outer third it creates a super smokey look that I adore.
