Bourjois Kissmass winter makeup look with Influenster

Bourjois Kissmass winter makeup look

Last month I was incredibly lucky to receive my first Influenster box, which contained a load of goodies from Bourjois complimentary. As they are all perfect for the holiday season I thought I would share the #BourjoisKissmass #HolidayLook today, and my thoughts so far on the products.

Bourjois healthy mix foundation and concealer

To create this look I start with applying a couple of pumps of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue foundation* onto my Eco Tools Makeup Sponge, and then apply this to my face in a bouncing motion. This leaves my face looking incredibly awake and glowing. The foundation still feels super light too, but it still provides a medium coverage base. My only problem with the foundation is that I am finding this breaks up quite a bit around my nose halfway through the day, but other than that I have been loving it.

I will then go in with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue concealer*, dotting it under my eyes, around my nose, and on my chin. This helps to add more coverage to those places that I need it, but it has the same awakening and glowy finish as the foundation.

After my base is ready to go, it’s time to start on my eyes using the Bourjois Smoky Stories quad palette* in the shade 15 Brilliant Prunette. I start by popping the palest shade in the top left corner on a large eyeshadow brush and applying this over my entire eyelid and a bit above. I then reach for a smaller brush, and pop the lighter purple shade in the top the right corner into the crease of both of my eyes, followed by using an angled brush and applying the dark purple shade at the bottom into the outer corner of my eye to create a more smokey effect.

My next step is to apply the middle super glittery shade onto the middle and corner of my eyes using my finger. It’s not the most pigmented shade so I find this allows the colour and glitter to transfer better. I then use a blending brush to ensure everything is blended together, before finally going back in to the shade at the bottom with a smaller brush, and applying this under my bottom eyelashes to add to the smokiness and depth of the whole look.

Following this, I then reach for the Bourjois Push Up Volume Glamour mascara* and apply this to my upper and lower lashes. I love this mascara as I find it adds so much volume and length to my eyes. Once my eyeshadow is complete I go on to do my eyebrows, as there wasn’t one in this box I used my trusty Benefit Brow Zings with an angled brush.

Having completed my base and eyes it’s time to add a little colour to my cheeks, using a blusher that used to actually be a favourite of mine when I was younger. It is the Bourjois blusher* in the shade 34 Golden Rose, a pigmented light pink rosy shade.

Bourjois Velvet Lipsticks

Shades from L-R; 12 Brunette, 10 Magni-fig, 11 Berry Formidable

To complete my winter makeup look I have been going in with the Bourjois Rouge Velvet lipstick* in the shade 10 Magni-Fig, a gorgeous a pink berry shade which compliments the eyeshadow quad colours perfectly. As it is a velvet matte lipstick rather than a regular matte it is incredibly comfortable to wear, but I do recommend picking up a lip liner if you can as I have found the lipsticks to bleed more than I’m used too.

I have also been loving the brown nude shade, 12 Brunette, on an everyday basis as it’s such a gorgeous shade that goes with so many makeup looks. The final shade, 11 Berry Formidable, is a beautiful berry red shade that I love too.
