Festive party makeup picks

With us being well into December and the countdown towards Christmas and New Year, we are definitely well into the festive party season. With that being said, today I thought I would share my favourite festive party makeup picks.

First up is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Sipped Glow Kit, an incredible highlighting palette. I’ve mentioned this product quite a few times on my blog, and for good reason, each of the powders are super finely milled and create the most amazing glow on your skin. I don’t know about you but a highlighter that can be built to blinding is an essential for the festive party season.

The Urban Decay All Nighter foundation is my next pick, a foundation that makes me feel amazing. If I’m getting ready for a night out or a festive party then I want my skin to look flawless, and this is the foundation I always reach for. It provides the finish I’m after whilst still not looking completely un-natural. It’s definitely one to try if you haven’t already.

The Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid eyeshadow in the shade Bronzed Bell is another essential for the festive party season as far as I’m concerned. It is a stunning metallic liquid eyeshadow, unlike anything that I have ever tried before. Bronzed Bell is a gorgeous bronze shade with silver and copper sparkle throughout, but I’m sure the other shades they do are just as stunning, they definitely look it from the swatches online.

The next product is something I’ve only gotten back into wearing recently and is the Kiss Faux Mink Lashes in Midnight*. I used to wear false lashes all the time when I was at university but I just stopped wearing them, but after trying a few recently I have no idea why. These ones from Kiss are incredible and add so much volume and length to my eyelashes, which is perfect for the festive party season.

My favourite way to finish a festive party makeup is to always add a bright red or deep raspberry lip as it’s a bold look that works so well. I have two favourites, the first being the Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick in the shade Orchidee, a gorgeous red lip, with a definite pink tinge. It’s incredibly comfortable to wear and is an everyday favourite of mine too.

My second favourite is a newer one to my collection, but one that I haven’t stopped wearing since purchasing. It is the Colourpop Satin lip in the shade Lyin’ King, a deep raspberry shade in my favourite formula from Colourpop. It is very long-lasting so it is great for evenings out, where you may be drinking or eating.

What are your favourite festive party makeup picks? Have you tried any of the products I’ve mentioned?
