A look inside my makeup bag

A look inside my makeup bag

Some people have an entire makeup look in their makeup bag, some people have a few items, I have way too many lip products and a few other items... So, today I thought I would share with you all a peak of what is currently inside my makeup bag.

First up has to be my two Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, I have the shades Bitch perfect and Pillow Talk. Bitch Perfect is a gorgeous peachy-nude shade and Pillow Talk is a lovely nude pink shade. They are both perfect everyday colours in the most comfortable formulas that go with so many looks. I absolutely adore them both, and only wish I owned more shades from Charlotte Tilbury, to cram in my makeup bag of course.

To add something a little different I tend to always have my trustee Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in the shade 17 Orchidee, a much brighter shade. It has been a favourite of mine ever since I picked it up a couple of years ago and it is such a gorgeous pinky-red shade, a great one that brightens up neutral makeup looks perfectly.

I also tend to have a few more lip products in my makeup bag from Colourpop as I love Colourpop a bit too much. The Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Lyin' King is a new one to my collection, but one I have been absolutely loving and hasn't left my makeup bag since it arrived. It is a gorgeous deep raspberry shade that I can see myself constantly using throughout the Autumn and Winter seasons.

The Lippie Pencil in the shade Bumble is a warm rose shade that is also in there. This works with a lot of nude and lighter pink shades that I own so it is a great one to have on the go. I do own the matching liquid lipstick but this seems to have escaped my makeup bag at the moment.

The final three lip products from Colourpop in my makeup bag are all ones that you have heard me talk about plenty of times on my blog so I won't say too much but they are; the Ultra Blotted Lip in Slide, the Matte X Lippie Stick in the shade Cami, and the Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Alyssa. These shades are a candy pink shade, a deep mauve nude shade and a dusty nude shade.

The last few items aren't lip related but are just a few essentials I like to have to hand, the first item is the L'Oreal True Match Powder. This is a product that I'm not actually that keen on but I keep it in my makeup bag for emergencies, and also to try and make me use it up. It is a coloured powder that is incredibly smooth and it does do the job, but it just isn't something I love.

I also like to have a body mist or body spray in my bag in case I want to spray myself throughout the day. This one from So...? in Fresh Musk perfectly compliments the perfume I put on in the morning and it has the benefit of stopping me using that constantly. I tend to use my perfumes like body sprays.

Lush Lip Scrubs are the final essential for me as my lips get dry and crackly so easily. This is a quick way to get rid of any flakiness and is something I couldn't live without in my makeup bag, it is honestly an amazing product.

What makeup products do you always have in your makeup bag?
